John has always been and avid hunter and outdoorsman. He joined the US coast Guard and retired in Alaska after 15 years of honorable service. John specialized in Search and Rescue, Port Security and Small Boat Operations. While stationed in Alaska he became truly taken with the Alaskan wilderness and best of all… the fishing.
Operating Timber Wolf Charters is a perfect fit for John who loves to take people fishing and building new friendships. John holds a USCG 100 ton Masters License, is a certified State of Alaska EMT and volunteer firefighter.
